Good Morning Everyone,
I hope everyone had a wonderful “Spring Break” and is “excited” to be back on our digital learning schedule. In case you haven’t heard the county has sent out new requirements regarding grades and digital learning. I encourage everyone to check the school website for the complete details but I will try to simplify it for everyone. Essentially, digital learning cannot hurt your average from March 12th, it can only improve it, as long as students are actively participating and showing knowledge throughout the digital learning process. We have been told that if students are not actively participating, meaning they are not participating/doing assignments, or showing little effort we should recommend they not get credit for the course and be signed up for summer school. Please make sure you are participating and turning in your assignments so that this does not become an issue for any of you. With the graduation date being changed to May 1st we only have 3 weeks left, so my plan is to cover international economics this week, Personal Finance next week, and then we will have our final test that covers both International and Personal Finance on May 1st your last day. Because of our current situation, we will not be doing the GDP slideshow or the Term Project (I know you are disappointed). I am also working on making any tests you have missed available online so that you can take them before the May 1st cutoff. Here are your assignments for this week:
I hope everyone is doing well, I miss seeing all of you. Please be safe and if you have any questions please email me or text me via remind. Stay Safe, Mr. Crooks

I do not believe I have anyone that falls into this category at this time but I wanted to let you all know about the change just in case. There has also been a change in our AP test, instead of a multiple choice section and free response section, students will only be assigned 2 free response questions. I have attached the official college board instructions to this email for everyone to see. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. This will be our last week of content starting next week we will start our review for the AP Exam. I hope everyone is safe and healthy. I miss you guys. Mr. Crooks |
